Humanitix is a ticketing platform that operates as a registered charity and donates 100% of its profits to social impact projects for disadvantaged children. In the US it charges a booking fee of 2.1% + $0.99 per paid ticket plus 2.9% + $0.30 processing, and charities and schools get a reduced rate of 1% + $0.99 plus processing. Fees are passed to buyers by default, but you can absorb them, split them or let buyers choose to cover them. Every account gets every feature, including reserved seating, recurring and timed-entry events, donations at checkout and a free check-in app, and public events are listed on the Humanitix marketplace. Founded in Australia in 2016, it now has sites for Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK and Fiji.
Humanitix charges 2.1% + $0.99 per ticket plus 2.9% + $0.30 processing in the US, against Eventbrite's 3.7% + $1.79 plus 2.9% processing. On a $25 ticket that is $2.55 against $3.45; on a $50 ticket, $3.79 against $5.09. Its charity and school rate is lower still, while Eventbrite offers no nonprofit discount on ticketing fees. Both list public events on their own marketplace; Eventbrite's is older and sells advertising on top. Humanitix pays out within five business days after the event on its own payment gateway, while Eventbrite offers pre-event payout schedules to established organizers.
