How we compare ticketing platforms
We make independent editorial comparisons for event organizers. A product can be a good fit for one event and a poor fit for another. We explain the requirements behind a recommendation rather than presenting every list as a universal ranking.
Sources and evidence
Use the linked provider documentation for the terms behind a price or capability. Documentation-based comparisons are not hands-on tests. When a feature cannot be established from the cited source, we mark it as unverified or ask readers to confirm it with the provider.
Fee comparisons
We identify country, currency, platform fees and payment processing separately. Worked examples state ticket volume, order size and who pays the fees. Taxes, custom contracts, discounts and international cards can change actual checkout totals. A platform-only fee is not an all-in cost.
The calculator uses published US rates with explicit assumptions and order-level rounding. Calculated examples are estimates, not a promise of a provider's exact checkout or payout.
Reviews and recommendations
We do not publish customer star scores or verified-purchase claims without traceable evidence. We do not describe hypothetical event scenarios as customer success stories. Before choosing a platform, test your required registration and check-in workflows.
Commercial transparency
Product mentions and links should be evaluated using the evidence and tradeoffs in the comparison. Any sponsored placement or affiliate relationship must be clearly disclosed alongside the relevant content and must not be presented as independent testing.
Updates and corrections
Article update dates reflect changes to the article. A rate-check date records when a specific source was reviewed; it does not guarantee the provider has kept the same price. Report errors with supporting evidence to [email protected].
