Questions organizers ask

Short answers. The guides have the detail.

What are the main reasons to look for Eventbrite alternatives?

People often look for Eventbrite alternatives due to high service fees, limited customization options, restricted payment processing choices, or the need for specialized features for specific event types like conferences, classes, or virtual events.

Are there free alternatives to Eventbrite?

For free events you may not need one: Eventbrite and almost every alternative charge nothing for free tickets. For paid tickets, eligible nonprofits can use Zeffy without platform or card fees, or Givebutter with donor tips enabled. Everyone else pays at least card processing.

Which Eventbrite alternative has the lowest fees?

For paid general-admission tickets, flat per-ticket fees usually cost least. On a $25 ticket, with card processing included, Eventbrite's US fees come to $3.45, while flat-fee platforms such as TixFox, Ticket Tailor and TicketSpice cost about $1.42 to $2.02. On cheap tickets a percentage-only fee such as Tito's 3% can be lower. Our lowest-fee comparison covers 17 platforms.

Can I migrate my events from Eventbrite to another platform?

Most alternatives don't offer direct migration tools, but many provide import functionality for attendee lists or event details. You may need to manually recreate events and re-upload attendee information when switching platforms.

Which alternatives work best for virtual or hybrid events?

Dedicated virtual-event platforms such as Airmeet, Whova and RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin) offer virtual lobbies, networking rooms and streaming. For a webinar or online class, simple registration plus your Zoom or YouTube link is often enough.

Do these alternatives offer mobile apps for attendees?

Many alternatives offer mobile apps for attendees to access event information, tickets, and schedules. Some also provide organizer-focused apps for check-in and on-site management. Our comparison tables indicate which platforms offer mobile applications.
